What is Newcomer Kitchen?
Newcomer Kitchen is a project that invites newly-arrived Syrian refugee women to cook a weekly meal in our kitchen. The meals are sold online for pickup or delivery, and the proceeds shared among the cooks. We launched a successful FundRazer campaign to help support this project until the end of the year, so that we can build it into a nonprofit organization that can replicate this idea with any newcomer group, in any restaurant kitchen, in any city in the world.
