What if you took the flavours of a great ham & cheese sandwich and re-imagined them as an elegant pasta? You’d get Quinn’s creative take on a childhood favourite: multigrain spaghetti with a light yogurt and dijon sauce, tossed with cubes of smoked ham and aged cheddar cheese. Served with fresh salad of juicy tomatoes and crisp snow peas in a light, tangy dressing.

ham and cheese spaghetti???? no offense but that doesn’t seem pleasant at all
Really? That’s pretty much alfredo, or carbonara, or macaroni & cheese: pasta in a cheesy sauce with some ham… think of it as kraft dinner for grown ups!
(though I think kids will really like this one a lot too)
menu update:
• Since kids love pasta & cheese, we’ll have 1/2 size kids portions for 1/2 price — bring the whole fam damily!
• Due to a lack of fresh snow peas, the salad will be a colourful garden salad of organic baby greens, cherry tomatoes, red & yellow peppers & cucumber.
• There will be a vegetarian version (seared cremini mushrooms instead of ham), and a gluten-free pasta option as well.
• We will also be serving a delightful light summer minestrone by Afoodgypsy, $4
• We’ll be reprising last-night’s supper yummy Apple Pie Sunday, with vanilla ice cream, graham cracker crumbs and local organic apples picked by Not Far From The Tree and canned by Christine Manning & Chef Cheryl Torrance, $4
um is there a vegan option tonight?
There is a vegetarian optinon (cheese, mushrooms, no ham) and a gluten free option, but not a vegan option tonight. We feature vegan dishes every Thursday, and I’d say over 50% of our dinner do have vegan options, but not tonight, sorry.
