DROP-IN DINNER: Homemade Kale Ravioli by Emily Forward and Katie Verissimo

Thursday night is Student Night at The Dep featuring the best in student talent from George Brown College.

Fresh Whole Wheat Ravioli with a Kale and Turkey Sausage filling tossed in a Balsamic Vine Ripened Tomato Sauce. As a vegetarian option, they also have a Kale and Butternut Squash filling. $12

In addition, Emily and Katie have developed their own healthy snack product called Kale Mix Bars, which will also be available at tonight’s event – try one! $2

Emily Forward and Katie Verissimo are soon-to-be-graduates of George Brown College’s Culinary Management- Nutrition program. They bring with them a love of cooking using fresh, local and nutritious ingredients. They have mastered the art of integrating nutrition into comfort food classics.
