
Kashiwa-Meshi (Chicken-Rice) is a traditional Japanese specialty of Shinji’s hometown of Fukuoka. Kashiwa-Meshi is rice cooked with shiitake mushrooms, gobou, tofu, carrot, chicken, soy sauce, sake and more, in a way that really brings out the harmony of chicken and soy flavours.
Kushikatsu is Shinji’s signature dish, and a favourite Japanese street food; deep-fried breaded skewers dipped in Miso-teriyaki sauce. Your choice of 3 skewers: pork, onion, quail egg, eggplant or okra.
The dinner also comes with some of Shinji’s homemade potato salad is on the side.
