From Peter:
“Join me tonight, Friday April 12th for a drop-in dinner I am doing at The Depanneur located at 1033 College Street (just east of Dufferin). Don’t look outside but it IS Spring and that means lamb is in season.
Us Greeks know our way round lamb and this evening I’ve prepared Lamb Exohiko. Picture slow-roasted lamb shoulder studded with garlic and rubbed with thyme and Greek oregano and stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes.
It doesn’t end there…I then cut up the lamb into chunks and place it in phyllo pastry with red peppers, spinach and a Greek sheep’s milk cheese called Kefalotyri. Baked ’til golden, the Lamb Exohiko goes for just $15 with side salad.
Dinner service begins at 6pm and we go until we’re sold out! Dine in or drop-in for take-out.”
