DROP-IN DINNER: Tofu & Tempeh Stirfry with Almond Curry by Megan Giffen & Justine Janisse

Thursday is Student Chef night at The Dep!

This vegan favourite has been the big hit at Megan & Justine’s dinner parties. A big, spicy, hearty dish that even has meat lovers coming back for more. It is packed full of vegetables like red peppers and kale, with a big protein boost from the tempeh and tofu, and healthy-fat richness the almond butter curry sauce. Served with basmati rice.

Megan Giffen is finishing up her second year at George Brown College in the Culinary Management & Nutrition program. She adores crafting and anything to do with food.

Justine Janisse is a George Brown student currently studying in the Culinary Management & Nutrition program. With a passion for healthy vegetarian/vegan cooking, Justine is very excited to be graduating this Spring and to proceed into the culinary field to make a difference in today’s food.
