Tourtière – a French Canadian meat pie – is a classic part of the Christmas Eve réveillon and New Year’s Eve meal in Quebec. With lots or regional variations including beef, veal, wild game or even fish, I’ll be making mine Montreal-style, with pork and hint of cinnamon and cloves. Served with mashed potatoes, beef gravy, chunky tomato chutney and pickled beets. A vegan Tourtière with mushrooms, bulgur & chestnuts will also be available.
$12 (tax in)
(vegan option)
Fresh Afoodgypsy soup, salad and pie too!
