
Sunday will talk about the importance of teaching children about food and farming, her project Green Thumbs Growing Kids and a provincial campaign called Imagine a Garden in Every School.
Sunday Harrison is the founder and Executive Director of Green Thumbs Growing Kids. Her passion is gardening with children and youth, and remaking the education system to include authentic environmental engagement and food literacy. She has a Landscape Architecture certificate from Ryerson University and graduated in 2014 from York University with a Masters in Environmental Studies and concurrent Graduate Diploma in Environmental and Sustainability Education.
