Winter is coming. We can no longer deny this inevitable fact, but we can prepare for it by making delicious, festive preserves that will warm your cockles through the holiday season.

Learn the ins & outs of home canning as we make two tummy-warming preserves that will be perfect to share with family and friends throughout the holiday season; Brandy Pecan Sauce is a perfect addition to your pantry and is amazing drizzled over pancakes or ice cream – think of it as a “Dessert in a Jar”. And you simply can’t go wrong with this super simple Margarita Jelly — lime, tequila and Triple Sec. The toughest part will be choosing whether to make it for your family and friends, or keep it all for yourself!

Join Christine Manning, owner of Manning Canning and long-time preserver for this class that will give you the basics of jar sterilization, safe canning practices and important do’s and don’ts of canning and preserving. You will also get a copy of the recipe to take home and at least 1 jar of each of the preserves you’ve made for your pantry.
