Just in time for the holidays, join Emily Zimmerman for a fun, hands-on opportunity to make your own delicious treats and gifts! Sweet, simple and elegant, your handmade chocolates can be served as treats over the holidays, given as gifts, or eaten on your way home – or maybe a bit of all three.
Working with organic, fair trade chocolate from Chocosol, (voted Best Chocolate in Toronto, NOW Magazine), this hands-on workshop will introduce you the basic techniques for working with chocolate. Using dark chocolate and creamy chocolate ganache along with coffee, cherries, spiced rum, dried fruit, pretzels, seeds, coconut and more, you’ll make your own haystacks, bark, and assorted truffles.
You’ll take get to take home a selection of your own custom-flavoured chocolate bark and a box of mixed chocolate bonbons, as well as the knowledge and recipes to make lots more.
All chocolates will be vegan and nut-free.
$60 +HST (quality chocolate is expensive, yo)
