WORKSHOP: The Love of Tea by Carol Mark

Tea, one of the worlds oldest and most popular beverages, offers an amazing array of flavours and aromas that can be enjoyed on the plate as well as the teapot.

Join certified tea sommelier Carol Mark for a fun, hands-on workshop that will inspire you to look at tea in a totally new way. This workshop explores the culinary possibilities of tea using recipes from Carol’s cookbook, The Love of Tea: Best of Food & Drink, using tea as an essential ingredient for a range of inventive culinary creations.

Carol is the founder of The Love of Tea, a purveyor of specialty pure blended teas that supports art, health and social change. Carol rediscovered tea as part of her recovery from cancer and shares her knowledge to maintain health through tea. Carol blends personal and corporate tea blends. Carol has authored several e-books on tea as part of her food and tea adventures including The Love of Tea, A Modern Afternoon Tea and The Best of Drink & Food.
