Join truffle aficionado and forager Hajira Ahmad for a delicious foray into the complex and fascinating world of truffles, with expert insight into these rare and most precious of culinary delicacies. Hajira will lead participants through an in-depth presentation + Q&A on truffles, truffle products and truffle hunting, accompanied by a tasting of selection of canapés featuring her premium Italian truffle products prepared with a high truffle content of 5% & 10% (vs. the more typical 1-2%), and without the ubiquitous artificial truffle flavouring found in many commercial products. There will also be a demo and tasting of a truffle & wild mushroom pizza Bianca finished with fresh Italian summer truffles (Tuber aestivum) foraged by the Chef herself. 

Hajira Ahmad’s passion for truffles was ignited during countless trips to Italy, ultimately leading her to train her beloved dog Angelo to hunt for them. Today they hunt truffles together in UK & Italy, and Hajira hosts exclusive, truffle-focused culinary events around the world featuring her line of premium Italian truffle products. At the end of the event there will be an opportunity to purchase premium truffle products at a exclusive discount.

After training her beloved Dog Angelo to hunt for truffles, Hajira launched Black Gold Experiences and now offers a range of premium truffle products in additional to inspired supper clubs, corporate events, and bespoke culinary tours.
