Discover the rich, vibrant flavours of Moroccan cuisine, where every dish tells a story shaped by centuries of culture, trade, and tradition. Warm, colourful, and aromatic, Moroccan food reflects the country’s diverse landscapes and heritage.

In this immersive culinary workshop you will learn how to prepare a traditional Chicken Tagine with Carrots while building flavour step by step. You’ll start by mastering the technique of gently caramelizing onions to unlock their natural sweetness, then learn how to balance spices such as turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon to create the subtle, layered aromas that define Moroccan cooking. You’ll also develop an understanding of slow cooking techniques that result in tender meat and a rich, cohesive sauce. Served with a rice and raisin pilaf.

You’ll also get hands-on experience making Ghriyba, a classic Moroccan cookie, learning how to shape and bake it to achieve its signature delicate, crumbly texture.

Finally, no Moroccan experience is complete without tea. You’ll learn the art and ritual of preparing authentic Moroccan mint tea, from balancing green tea, fresh mint, and sugar to enjoying the traditional pouring technique that enhances both flavour and presentation, while discovering its central role in Moroccan hospitality.

Throughout the workshop, Salma will share practical tips, cultural context, and the small details that make all the difference, so you leave not just with recipes, but with real understanding and confidence.
