Do you love to cook meals?
On Saturday nights, we push our tables together and host an informal, family-style dinner party prepared by a rotating cast of guest cooks.
The space accommodates seating for up to 24 diners. Doors open at 7:30, dinner starts at 8 and winds down by 11.
Tickets are typically $60 (+HST) per person, and chefs receive $30 per person, ie. up to $720 for a sold out event (24p) + 1/2 of any tips, to divide between their ingredients, costs and labour however they like. Some events, with live music, exceptional menus or celebrity chefs may be priced higher.
The Dep provides the ticketing, promotion, tables, linens, service, kitchen, equipment, etc. and a staff member to help facilitate the event. Chefs have kitchen access from 3:30pm the day of their event, and expected to clean up what they use in the kitchen; our staff will look after the rest.
